Third Annual InsurTech Scholarship Open for Applications
The third annual InsurTech Scholarship is now open for applications for the 2018-19 school year.
Carrollton, Texas – Tuesday, January 30, 2018 – Insurance Technologies Corporation (ITC), a provider of insurance websites, agency marketing, rating and management software and services, opened today the third annual InsurTech Scholarship for applications for the 2018-19 school year.
ITC will award one $1,500 scholarship to a current college student who plans to join the insurance industry after their graduation. Applicants must submit a 1,500-word essay about the impact of technology on the insurance industry over the next five years.
“It is important to us to support the upcoming generation as they’re helping to drive the changes that are occurring in the insurance industry,” said Laird Rixford, president of ITC. “The InsurTech Scholarship helps support a story while also supporting the future of the industry.”
The deadline to apply for the third annual InsurTech Scholarship is August 31, 2018. Any student currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate school and plans to work in the insurance industry is eligible for the scholarship.
